The history of DH begins to be written in the summer of 2001 in the streets of Barcelona. There the Serbian double bass player, Ivan K, and Hernán S. Duska M, also Serbian, met with whom they played alto saxophone in a trio for almost two years, a period in which the idea of forming the quintet arose. Since its first performance, original songs predominate in the repertoire, allowing the public to enjoy swing, boogie, ska, blues and jump blues, without neglecting classics of the style, such as Louis Prima or Louis Jordan, always interpreted with the particular sound of " slide” and the band's own arrangements. Since February 2004, the position of tenor sax is occupied by the Catalan Pol P, thus defining the current line-up.
